International Women’s Day (8th March) is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women, and also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity.

This year’s theme for IWD is #PressforProgress, as the World Economic Forum’s 2017 Global Gender Gap Report has found that gender parity could be as far as over 200 years away.

As part of this year’s theme, we thought we would take a look at the publications of women’s achievements and where further progress could be made. Utilising a Power BI dashboard, we focused on analysing the historical winners of TIME Magazine’s ‘Person of the Year’ award, with the ability to filter by country, category, and of course, gender.

We think the data speaks for itself, don’t you?
