The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a comprehensive update to existing European Union Data Protection laws, which will come into effect on May 25, 2018. The GDPR is designed to harmonise data privacy laws across Europe, protect and empower all EU residents’ data privacy, and reshape the way organisations across the region approach data privacy.

Eyecademy is committed to ensuring that we are compliant with all the regulations laid out in the GDPR.

Subject Access Requests

You may make subject access requests (“SARs”) at any time to find out more about the personal data which the Eyecademy holds about you, what it is doing with that personal data, and why.

Customers or Job Applicants wishing to make a SAR should click on the Subject Access Request Button below:

Responses to SARs shall normally be made within one month of receipt, however this may be extended by up to two months if the SAR is complex and/or numerous requests are made. If such additional time is required, the data subject shall be informed.

All SARs received will be handled by the Company’s Data Protection Officer.

Eyecademy does not charge a fee for the handling of normal SARs. Eyecademy reserves the right to charge reasonable fees for additional copies of information that has already been supplied to a data subject. Eyecademy reserves the right to refuse a SAR if the request is manifestly unfounded or excessive, particularly where such requests are repetitive.
